The time has come for me to begin posting political and social commentary. This is not merely an attempt at self-aggrandizement; rather, I hope to engender some amount of change in the world--change toward the betterment of humankind. At present, I remain uncertain about how much one man can do armed only with his wit and tenacity. Nonetheless, I am compelled to try.
