New Interview with Pennacchio

Natalie Davis of All Facts and Opinions just posted a spectacular interview with Chuck Pennacchio. This is a MUST READ for anyone who wants to know more about Pennacchio and his positions. Read it and spread the word. Hell, print it out and post it in your office. Here's the link.

Fun Exercise:

Compare Chuck Pennacchio's capacity for the spoken word with that of President George W. Bush. Grab some crayons, paper plates, and rubber bands to make cool Bush and Pennacchio masks. Then try having a conversation by reading quotes from both men. See whose head explodes first!

Hello Friend,

This is simply to let you know that
I put up a link to your blog on mine, in support of Chuck Pennacchio.

I feel frustrated because I am not a Democrat, and cannot vote in the primary - but I'm for Chuck all the way. I'm trying to do what I can to help him to be recognized.

I haven't been this excited about a politician since Eugene McCarthy, God Rest His Soul...

Peace,
=RD=

Thanks for the link. I checked out your blog today and am glad to see a fellow blogger for Chuck from the Lehigh Valley. I was born and raised in Allentown before going to Penn State.

I understand your frustration but keep in mind that you CAN vote for Chuck, but choose not to do so. This isn't meant as a rude comment, but progressive actions count far more than progressive words. What good will come from not temporarily switching parties? As I type, I am a registered Green. See my brief post from a couple weeks ago.(http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=21890947&postID=114102435741295865)
Any day now I'll be changing affiliation to the Democratic Party so that I can vote in the primaries. Afterwords I'll switch my affiliation back to Green. Registering as a Dem. feels slimy and I hate it, but people like us CAN change the Democratic party from the inside. If you are really for Chuck all the way, then hold your nose, change parties for a month, and punch your chad in April. People like us can't stand in Chuck's way.

Cheers

You're welcome! It's great to hear that you are changing affiliation temporarily to vote for Chuck. I just wrote a post relevant to our conversation that you might enjoy.

Cheers
