Pennacchio Files Ballot Petition

Hazah and Kudos!

Pennacchio for Pennsylvania submitted 4212 signatures on their petition to get on the primary ballot for US Senator. 4212 is more than twice the amount of signatures necessary for access to the ballot, so there will be plenty of legitimate signatures to outweigh any nefarious "I.P. Freely" or "Heywood Jablowme" who signed the petition. With Chuck officially on the ballot, the media better get off their collective punk ass and stop calling Casey the Democratic challenger to Rick Santorum.

Missouri Legislature to Establish Christianity as State Religion: Part I

I heard about this a few days ago from Atrios, but my brain could not comprehend it. Honestly, I actually had to disregard it for a while at this risk of aneurysm. Chew on this for a minute:

The Missouri legislature could pass a resolution establishing Christianity as the state-approved majority religion.

Is this legal...possible...conceivable? How can Missouri have the balls to come out that directly in opposition to the separation of church and state? I'll have to let this one digest for a while before posting on it in more detail. What do you think?
